PowerSource Battery Storage Electrical Integration
Scope Precision & Integration

"We handle the complete electrical integration side of your battery storage system, wiring clean inverter paths, smart off-peak charge meters, and backup EPS circuits so your power remains fully under your control."

Note: We act strictly as the specialist electrical contractor working to deliver certified safety, grid balancing, and SP Energy Networks notification compliance.

The Battery Integration Protocol.

Our structured, fully compliant delivery model guarantees seamless operation.

01

Tariff & Load Audit

We assess your property’s maximum electrical demand, inspect your board, and help match storage options with smart tariffs.

02

AC/DC Battery Pairing

Wiring smart inverters and connecting advanced lithium-ion cells safely to either new solar systems or existing lines.

03

Backup EPS Circuitry

Surgically wiring dedicated backup emergency power supply (EPS) loops so essential circuits stay powered during grid failure.

04

Certify & Register

We certify all AC-side connections under Part P, issue your NICEIC certificate, and complete manufacturer warranty logs.

Battery Storage FAQ

Can I add battery storage to existing solar?

Yes. We can retro-fit AC-coupled battery storage systems (such as GivEnergy or Tesla Powerwall) directly to any existing solar PV array without changing your solar inverter.

Does this work without solar?

Absolutely. Standalone battery storage is highly profitable even without solar. You can charge the battery overnight using cheap off-peak smart tariffs (like Octopus Flux) and discharge it during peak day-time rates, significantly reducing your energy bills.

What happens in a power cut?

By default, standard batteries disconnect during outages for grid safety. However, we can wire a dedicated 'EPS' (Emergency Power Supply) circuit that automatically switches over to feed key circuits (like refrigeration, lighting, and internet) during power cuts.
